That's representative of the average Seattleite. Seattle and Portland replaced San Fran as the center of insanity.

No, that's representative of the democrat voting base as a whole. Most of them are 1000% onboard with this. Their goal is to wipe conservatives and conservative thought off the face of the earth. That includes your neighbors and relatives who claim to only lean slightly left, too.

LWS spent nearly all of his show yesterday justifying why Trump should be not only arrested, but incarcerated indefinitely due to the risk posed to the public if he is allowed to rally the troops for another insurrection.

I don't know about you, but the moment news of his imminent arrest breaks I'm going back to quarantining (with a mask, of course). Who knows what chaos might break out on the streets. Not even the bakery co-op is safe anymore.

Martial law! Lol... the protest was only at the WH, nothing happened outside that building. What about the George Floyd riots? I'd like to hear his solution for that type of civil unrest. If Jan 6 warranted martial law, then the riots should have had Apache helicopters lighting up the demonstrators! Do these people really believe what they say?

The only person at PRS who has spoken out about the violence at the Floyd riots is Waldo and that's probably why he's largely been sidelined at this point. Even then, he didn't condemn it, just said it was commandeered by people outside of the movement.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Sojourner Chloe Xiu started filling in half the time for Waldo after that. Roaro (who probably bumped Waldo to part time) compared the BLM riots to the Indian Rebellion of 1857.

Of course not. It's all about furthering an agenda.

Nobody will ever be able to convince me that Seanathan Abernathy is anything but a dyed in the wool true believer.

Logical ( well there’s a laugh) would say the people responsible for creating these problems like false accusations, fake news, prosecutorial misconduct/ bias, msm corruption would be the proper place for adjustments

I don't know if you're joking or not but Sledge quite seriously says that it's impossible for black people to make a city "less safe" in the same was as they can't be racist - because they don't have the power to do it. So while I get what you're saying it would be like a different language to him.

A black person killing a black person is two powerless people engaging in conflict - no safety implications. A black person killing a white person (a powerless person killing a powerful person) arguably increases safety for the community.

I found the show particularly compelling. I was literally shaking atop my earth-bike as I rode to Whole Foods after my Transexual Dance Therapy Class.

I thought the best moment was when Regiford Delong-Bivvins talked about how The Feminine Imperative requires that all "grab em in the pussy" types be arrested, tried at The Hague, rehabilitated via televised struggle sessions, and their wealth be redistributed to various groups working to free the Transexual community from the "inherent Naziism of Whiteness". I actually wept at the beauty of that.

What did Lethuel Kirkegard have to say? He’s been quite a bit more moderate with his takes lately.

There is no “arguably” about it. Seattle safety zones were created to shield people of color from the fascist white supremacists that have been running government for too long.

I've been holding on to this for months, but I figure there is no better time to share it. My cousin works in IT in public radio and apparently LWS sent this email to his program director.

quote:

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to discuss my concerns regarding the guests that are being invited to my show. As you know, I am a center-left radio host who enjoys lively debates and discussions on current events and politics. However, I would like to bring to your attention two particular guests who I find it difficult to engage with on a personal and political level.

Firstly, Travis Gregory Stano has a history of referring to "reverse racism," a term which is both inaccurate and offensive. He has even suggested that affirmative action in college admissions should be banned, a policy that has been instrumental in providing opportunities to underrepresented communities. Additionally, I have recently become aware that he has used White Supremacist dog whistles off the air, which is deeply troubling to me. I believe that these views and behaviors are not only misguided but also harmful, and I find it challenging to have productive discussions with him when we hold such fundamentally different views.

Secondly, Seanathan Abernathy's progressive rhetoric can come across as elitist and off-putting to more moderate folks, and I worry that this contributes to the "anti-Woke" ideology and legislation we are seeing in red states. While I appreciate his contributions to the public discourse, I find it difficult to engage in a meaningful discussion with him when his approach is dismissive of those who do not share his views.

Additionally, I must confess that my personal feelings toward both Travis and Seanathan affect my ability to have productive conversations with them. Unfortunately, this has bled into our on-air discussions, and I worry that it affects the quality of the show and our listeners' experience.

Therefore, I kindly request that I am not forced to have either Travis or Seanathan on my show. I believe that this would allow me to maintain the quality of my show and ensure that our listeners receive a fair and balanced perspective on the issues we cover.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Lonald Weiler-Sledge
