Sorry to hear you are going through this. If you were at my pharmacy I'd advise you to get on the teledoc app and just ask the prescriber that calls you for the refill. Upload a pic of the most recent pharmacy label from your box of U 500 for the appointment. Tell them you can't get in touch with primary. They will send a prescription to the pharmacy in 10 minutes. Teledoc is usually a low copay too. Good luck.
Previous posters are correct about them not getting reimbursed without labs and standard care, but if you made the soonest appointment they had, prepaid and have had labs within a year I'd find a new provider. Withholding pump insulin under the above circumstances is not good practice.

If you are on that much insulin and type 2 then that means you are non-compliant…that’s why she won’t give you refills because she wants you to come to the office more so that maybe one day you will get it…..
that more insulin isn’t the answer to your problem.
