I take breaks all the time. Currently on one now for the past month or so. Usually they last 2-3 months. Used to be same as you. Everyday, and all day. But just got tired of it nonstop honestly. Never had the mood swings or ever felt addicted either though.

Weed often puts me in a pretty melancholy mood for a couple days after. But I don’t partake often.

Good for you, baw!
Yeah, it's addictive to many. Like you said, most things can be. Weed is a drug. People get addicted. I've known more than a few who have thrown their lives away to simply be high all the time. I hate to see it.

This just seems excessive.
It became a routine. Wake up, make coffee, load a bowl. I stayed high all day and would take a hit before work or any errands I had to run.
It wasn’t until I had my daughter that I started thinking this isn’t a good routine. I would go out in the garage and take a hit and then watch her and think why did I just do that? I noticed it was more of a compulsion than anything. Now if I wanna smoke I just drink a glass of water.

Right? I sprayed the Clegg’s mixture 10 days ago and dammit if the crab grass is still there.

They say weed isn’t addictive but it definitely is, anything is addictive if you have the right personality for it.
Marijuana is not a drug. I used to suck dick for coke. Now that's an addiction. You ever suck some dick for marijuana?

^ you’re not alone in that sentiment either. The day becomes you passing thru the motions and next thing you know it’s the next day repeating it.
Stopping wasn’t hard but it didn’t come without withdrawal symptoms either. I stopped that and all my meds. I’m just now, since quitting, not having any effects. So bout 3 months.

I support people right to use weed but find it silly when people claim its some kind of miracle drug.

It's so easy these days it's hard to pass up. Definitely becomes part of the routine. Even after realizing it's not fun to be high in certain situations, you still find yourself taking a rip of the pen. Best I've done is hold off until I've gotten all my shite done but more often I'm smoking before noon. Drink socially and could take it or leave it when it comes to booze but something about the weed man.

Anyone else ever quit weed for good?
I smoked for 25 years and quite this past December. Before COVID, I smoked a bowl per night after the kids went to bed. Once COVID hit, I started smoking all day everyday. I don’t know if this is forever but I definitely needed a break. I feel great and have lost some weight in the process.
Good luck on your journey

I mean anything that feels good can be habit forming but I cycle on and off with weed and when I decide to go off I feel a bit aggravated for a week or so but that's it. I think most people laugh off calling it addictive bc the withdrawal effects from things like opiates can be hell on earth.
