What is the definition of a RINO

First- It’s not RHINO. It’s RINO. “Republican in Name Only.”
I am going to provide my definition-
Please tell me if I’m wrong, and If so, why so:
A RINO is an identified/alleged member of the Republican Party who regularly takes positions that are either Democrat positions , or takes positions that appease Democrats even when such positions are counter to the interests and preferences of actual voting Republicans who elected them to not be Democrats. All members of the right wing of the Uniparty are RINOS.
Examples of RINOS- Mittens, Bill Cassidy, Michael Steele, Asa Hutchinson, Nikki Haley. There is no daylight between these dipshits and Democrats, or the Uniparty. They are one and the same. I really DGAF what Mitt Romney (who is the most loathsome of all) for example, thinks is a good idea. In fact, if he endorses it- I’m pretty much opposed to it. If he left the senate or the republican party, no one would miss him. He has that detestable quality common to all RINOs - Weasely and boring AF
RINOs are not defined in relationship to Donald Trump.
I consider all RINOs my ideological opponents.

A RINO is a Democrat who pretends to be Republican. He/she will vote with Republicans when their vote isn't deciding. And, they will coordinate with other RINOs to decide who needs to take the bullet and vote with Democrats.

There are also lots of republican legislators who left elective office to make money in media bashing republicans.

Trial lawyers in LA have elected hundreds of district and appellate judges, House and Senate members, Governors, District Attorneys etc etc.
Its not hard, just have them change over to the R in front of their name. Sometimes, especially in Judicial races you can switch parties 6 months before the election.

To me, a RINO is a trojan horse Republican. Some RINOs are known quantities to themselves and others. There are other RINOs who succumb over time to the temptations of the uniparty. These can be the scariest kinds, because they have become blind to self and honestly think they are doing the work they were elected to do.

A RINO is a Republican politician that campaigns on conservative ideas, gets elected on those ideas but once in office abandons those ideas.
