I’ve narrowed down my decision to the blaze prelude 25” vs Bull Steer 25”.

Does anyone have experience with either brand or advice?

I have a Blaze and it has been fine. Of course, I've only had it for a year and can't speak to it's longevity. It's a BBQ Guys brand (Baton Rouge based company), so it is relatively easy to get replacement parts and accessories.

Had a custom set up put it in about six years ago and the guy recommended a Blaze. No issues whatsoever. The only thing I’ve done to them is replace the burner covers and got those parts on Amazon.

The one thing I will say on blaze is a lot of there temperature gauges are color coded from yellow orange and red and just says hot, hotter, hottest

I could see some people not liking that and wanting an actual temp gauge. Took some time to get use too. It doesn’t bother me but I would assume you can replace that pretty easily.

I bought a blaze when they first came out 15 years ago, I believe. I’ve only had to replace to flame dampeners a couple of times and the burners once. They replaced these items free because it had/has a lifetime warranty. Overall I’ve been pretty happy with it.

Don't write of Artisan grills. They are made in the USA and very high quality. I was doing this same debate 3 years ago and then finally settled on this. It's a great unit

Is this a lid thermometer?

If so, those things are very inaccurate anyway so not a huge loss.

I got a Delta Heat for my summer kitchen. Very happy with it. It is also high quality and made in the USA.

I own one of each, The bull might be a little heavier gauge material but the blaze has been great so no complaints with it. Either would get another buy from me, I'd go with the better deal or features you can add. I own side burners, drawers and cabinets from both lines as well. Bulls doors seemed heavier but once again nothing wrong with Blaze. I did add a sear burner on each brand.

FYI, Blaze Grills are made in China.

Bull, Artisan, and Delta Heat are made in the USA.

Artisan is the affordable line by Alfresco.

Delta Heat is the affordable line by Twin Eagles.

AOG and Sedona (by Lynx) are others to look at - all American Made).

Maybe so. When they first launched the Blaze Grill they said all of the burner components were purchased from the same manufacturer as BULL.

If I was me, I would get rid of the sink and go with a 32" grill, unless you have a real need for the sink. Most of those sinks are about large enough to wash a single coffee cup, and unless you tie it into the drainage system, you won't be able to flush much down it. Sinks can be very expensive if you have to run the water lines and drainage lines.

A 32" grill will have 3 burners and be much more flexible. Especially if you plan on doing direct/indirect cooking. A 25" will be two burners, most likely.
Also, the 25" grills often seem disproportionate - like they are taller than they are wide.

Garbage can is well worth it. Don't skimp on the fridge. Get a quality fridge and it should last and look good.

I know you didn't ask, but that is my two cents.

Put some outlets in that setup baw

I’d second what another poster said and go for the 32” grill

I like the Blaze grills, they’re very easy to take apart and clean

Very sound advice. You probably have to have electric running to the grill, anyway so add 2-3 outlets, too.

I know man. I just rarely use my nat gas grill in this area (currently wheeled) sear on it usually.
I use my recteq or my iron stick burner a lot for indirect or charcoal grilling. (Those are under another awning cooking area.
Also my beer fridge is in the garage like 20 feet away, that opens up to the patio area. I’m not gonna put a little mini fridge in this setup. I really want a sink. That’s a huge 33” wide double square sink

I’m a big fan of the sink even if it’s small, but looked like he had two compartments on that sink so decent size. I can take tongs or spatulas or anything with raw meat and throw them in there and clean while I cook, or wash my hands if I was barehanding it. Washing my hands instead of having to go inside is a big plus

This is the sink. I also like that you can put a cutting board blocking one side for added counter space when not using both compartments.

Whatever you buy, get a cover and use it. The burners and flame guards seem to last longer if you keep the grill covered and clean. JME

I’m getting something like that done too. Are you in BR? If so who are you using and can I ask about what it’ll cost?
