He played decently at Auburn.

Looking at him now, he performs just as poorly against scrubs like Tulane as good teams in Alabama. That shows that he's just not very good regardless of competition.

LSU wins the game against #1 Alabama if LSU's WR corp catches the balls thrown by Jarrett Lee. End of story. Watch the tape. If you can't see that he is improving, you're blind.

In Lee's case I think it would be incredibly helpful in the course of a game if someone (JJ or Hatch) was available to spell him for a series or a possession - just to let him step aside and get his bearings straight.

I think Lee would play much better and the use of JJ/Hatch would also put some addt'l challenges for defenses to contend with.
