These last 2 beautiful mornings have got me the fever. Didnt help I went to pick up some more chickens yesterday, and the lady had turkeys too. Opened door and immediately heaed hens chirping, and then the gobbler hammer. Really nothing like spring in the woods and hearing that gobbler fire off. Only a month away boys

Can’t wait, last Sunday of deer season I moved all my cams to fire breaks and open fields where we’ve traditionally had birds. Numbers have been a little bit higher than usual where we’re at and we left several gobbling last year.

When is the earliest for them to start gobbling? Late Feb? First week of March? I’ve gone on hunts in west Texas but this will be my first year trying to hunt them on my lease in SW Miss and it’s a new lease to me.

I live in the ready for turkey season. This season should be pretty exciting for me, opening it up in Okeechobee to try for my first Osceola

Can't wait. The last deer hunt I went on I saw so many turkeys I got excited and forgot about deer hunting. Basically just turkey scouting but with a rifle.
I'm coaching a tball team and assisting on a coach pitch team this spring though, so I'm afraid this year will finally be the year that I don't get to go much

I can't wait. I live in south Texas, grew up in south LA, and I have a hunt lined up for my dad and me on 3/24-3/25. My Dad turned 70 in August and has never been on a turkey hunt. I hope I can get one under 30 yards gobbling his head off for my dad.

Tut's already in full gear. He's got red-headed warblers mixed in with his egg laying birds in some kind of shooting house. Baw gonna have a damn fiesta on his hands.

New bow, new broadheads, lots of birds on cam.
I hope it’s a great season for my boy.
