If so is it worth seeing and about his basketball career or is it mostly political bs?

From the previews it looks like they are leaning more towards the political side.

Whole squad was talented. Maurice Williamson was highly rated, Vernel could jump out of the gym.

Looks like they trying to blame his lackluster NBA career over the stading for the anthemn controversy. Fact is he was very inconsistent in the NBA.

Actually more like a mini-version of MJ.

I always thought he would struggle in the NBA due to this lack of size. Back then you couldn't zone-up so if the other team spread the court and put CJs man down in the low post, he couldn't defend him...

I think it had more to do with his disease which at that time, the meds didn't really work for it.

Because they had one year together in an era where teams were full of great upperclassmen. Freshman Shaq averaged just short of 14 a game.

and Stanley Robert, Vernell Singleton, Maurice Williamson, Wayne Sims.

An absolutely loaded roster, and we couldn't even with the SEC and bowed out early in the NCAA Tourney.

Dale Brown wasn't good with elite talent. He was best with lesser talent that he could motivate.

i don't think chris jackson was a political animal. yes, he changed his religion to muslim but not for political reasons. he was a very quiet man that kept to himself mostly.
