As long as the ump calls the strike zone both ways, it’s not a big deal.


A baseball ump has three different calls to make during a game. “Ball/Strike, Safe/Out, Fair/Foul”

In baseball you don’t hit a HR then look back and see a penalty flag thrown during the play.

True, but if an ump puts you in a 0-2 hole, you won't see a pitch for the rest of that at-bat that you can drive anywhere near a home run.
