Haven't read this thread outside of the first few posts in order to avoid spoilers. But jumped into the Cosmere based on the love these books get on this board and in this thread.
Came in knowing NOTHING of the series. Almost halfway through The Final Empire and really loving it. Sanderson's use of metals in this book is fascinating. Very unique powers system that makes the combat sections extremely enjoyable. I can visualize how fast paced the action is supposed to be going based on his descriptions of the pushing & pulling element taking place nonstop.

Sanderson biggest strengths are his world building and his hard magic systems. Though his real super power is his ability to consistently write and put out books on a regular basis unlike some of his fantasy peers.
Glad you are enjoying Mistborn. If you didn't see the post about reading order; I recommend following publication order except for Mistborn Secret History. Save that for after RoW.
