I went to Microcenter yesterday and shocked at how many Sim Racing products they have now. I want to build a setup soon. Too bad the demo was out of order. I've never tried a direct drive wheel setup.

Yea, they have a pretty good selection now. I was excited to see they had SimLab equipment because its in the UK and the shipping just eats you alive to get here in the US. Their Vario triple monitors setup, pictured in your post, is the best IMO, the micro adjustments you can make are amazing.

I've asked before but does anyone have any recs for where to watch the Monaco GP in Eze or Nice? Maybe a good sports bar?

It's Monaco Week!

Probably one of the only people in this thread that still likes Monaco week. Love the absurdity of it all.

No decision yet, but seems like it will be toast.

No logical place on the calendar.

Monaco weather forecast calls for higher than 50% chance of light rain all week.

James Hunt overtook 4-5 cars at the start of the 74 Monaco Grand Prix.

The cars are just too big now for the circuit. It's a parade now and has been for so many years.

Qualifying is the highlight of the weekend every year IMO.

Is there a chance the size of the cars are decreased in the future?

I doubt it. I'm not a tech guy but I imagine it has to do with aero and safety.

Safety and the survival cells is what I have heard really leads to the size. The ICE is smaller, but those battery packs will keep getting larger.

IMO the cars are fine. We need better tracks.
