I was a General Wade fan way back when he was at UTC.
I’ve been a LSU fan my whole life, stormed the field back in 97 when I was a little kid..
But I hope the LSU basketball program suffers horribly for allowing the media pressure cause them to prematurely fire Wade…. It’s gonna take me many yrs to even care about watching another LSU basketball game

Any “fan” who puts a single coach above their program is nothing but a sidewalk casual. Just stay over there, or better yet, follow your chosen one to whatever mid-major Siberia he lands at.

The a-hole I was referring to literally said he hopes the LSU program takes a fall for firing Wade. No coach in any sport, no matter who they are or how good they are, is bigger than the school. If you really support LSU, then that’s just bullshite.
Again, I’m not saying what I said to everyone still pining after Wade. I think it’s silly. I’m done with him and blame him for this entire mess and hold him personally responsible for it. However, I get that some of you are still upset and the way the team looks right now just makes that worse.
That’s NOT the same as hoping LSU Basketball fails because they fired your guy. If you take it to that level, then you aren’t a real fan. Period.

Where is WW coaching now, btw? Since what he was doing was so successful and so normal, surely he’s been snatched up by another program somewhere, right? He’s not some out of work loser with a podcast is he? Is there a conspiracy by AD’s nationwide to keep him down by not picking up LSU’s trash?

He is working with the NBA and doing some scouting according to a recent Mascona podcast. He finished in the top 4 in the SEC every year but his first. He will coaching again in a year or two. Too talented of a coach to be no be coaching.
