Whether it was racist or not I don’t know, but if you’re implying that the criticism completely died away you are mistaken..

We had “fans” complaining about a touchdown pass because it wasn’t perfectly thrown and even complaining about the two point conversion pass that beat Bama in overtime because it wasn’t thrown soon enough. lol

The really amusing thing about all of this is the guy catching continual flack from some is the team MVP. Now tell me that’s not a tad bit strange. lol

O is of course a reliable source. The broadcasters pointed it out on a replay.

The head coach isnt a source on what he allows the qb to do?
And how did the announcers know it was a pass play? You think game announcers have the play call sheet? Maybe get your husband to explain what I'm saying to you.

You are stupid.

Says the girl that thinks the head coach isn't a reliable source on what the qb is allowed to do in game. It's OK honey.... you're football ignorant.

You probably don't know the numbers on a route tree or where the techniques line up without Google.

Idiocy does not equal racism is my point. And neither do legitimate complaints about performance flaws. And I say that as a person who still thinks Daniels deserved starting role.

tell me, how much legitimate complaints about performance can there be when the guy accounts for 3800 yards of O, 28 touchdowns, a passing completion rate of 70%, winds up leading an O that is #6 in the nation for first downs gained, beats Bama, and helps LSU win the West???

Oh, and least I forget, is the team MVP

We also scored the most points in a season since 2013 outside of 2019.

We did play 1 more game than all those seasons too.
My only gripe is JD getting more consistent in the passing game so when teams start shutting down his escapabilty he can make them pay. I think an off season will do wonders for him.

Burrow was 11/24 for 140 yards along with 4 carries for 14 yards in that game. Zero TDs.

Daniels was 26/35 for 209 yards along with 16 carries for 114 yards in his game. 2 TDs.

Damn Man, what is wrong with you?

That was Burrow's first game as a starter.

Daniels was splaying his fourth season as a starter.

Missing the point. The poster I responded to said he could tell after Burrows first game what kind of QB he would be.

Is that what we're calling Daniels now?

Sacrificed his body for LSU…heisman contender…some of this crap is embarrassing to read. Sounds like a bunch of 8th graders cheering on some mythical being.

What is your comparison and defense of Daniels

Daniels is a running QB that has success with his feet, his feet set up his passing and Daniels is a good very good college QB.

Kelly put his stock in Daniels because Daniels could win games with his feet, one dimensional QB's are defensible by good DC's and good talented teams.

Because of COVID Daniels can start his 5th season and LSU will win games and possibly Daniels can develop into a great passing threat. Hopefully so and LSU can advance to the CFP

I agree with all of that. We are a legit contender this upcoming year and Daniels is a HUGE reason why.

I am a white dude so I will not try to deny anyones opinion on racism. With that said you must realize that we are a very low football IQ fan base, you need to learn to expect all this madness anytime anything slightly negative happens. We may be in good hands with the program, but our fan base is as bad as I have ever seen it.

I’ll answer your question with stats and another question.

Les Miles had impressive stats— In his 11-plus seasons with the Tigers, LSU averaged 10 wins a year and won more games from 2005-2015 than any other program in the SEC over that 11-year stretch. In 11-plus years with the Tigers, Miles climbed to become the second-winningest coach in school history in both overall wins (114) and in SEC regular season victories (64). He was fastest in LSU history to win 10, 20, 30…100 games. National coach of year. Won it all.

Were there legitimate complaints about his coaching?

Jayden’s stats were impressive— the good news, he can be better.

Well the geniuses on this board (and I use that term tongue in cheek) said that:

*Brandon Harris would be great after transferring to UNC where he got beat out by a Freshman.

*Lowell Narcisse was screwed out of the QB job and was going be fantastic elsewhere but in reality he ended up losing his starting job at Gulf Coast Jr College to a Freshman QB. He then transferred to Sam Houston State where he was all but forgotten.

*TJ Finley transferred to Auburn and the Chicken Littles on this board went Apeshit crazy and predicted great success for Finley but he was benched after being GIVEN the job and he still is terrible.

*Max Johnson transferred out to A&M and the where he is a non factor. Inconsistent at best.

Some of you need to get a grip.

You’re pissing in the wind. There are trolls and idiots who are convinced they know more than Kelly about this team.
