Talking money, not getting the piss worked out of you, not so much strict rules.

Guess it also depends if you are a contractor, maintenance, operator, engineer, etc.

Just trying to start a discussion.

Realize that for a peon as the $/hr increases the chance of cancer also increases.

Huntsman/Rubicon is a great example

Dem cancer boi's downvotin'. Love you boi's, go get y'all that OT.

Good luck with finding one without strict rules.

Been to many as a driver. BASF dudes were ok. Dudes at Shell were dumb and seemed unhappy. I actually overheard a guy at Shell say he woke up suicidal.

His son Jaxtynn probably went 0-10 with a couple K’s this weekend. That LSU scholarship already slipping away…

There’s no easy answer for your question. All plants are different, but each unit inside of them is different also. Different people, different attitudes, different motivations, different work loads. I’m an operator at the Exxon. I love it. But I hired in with 40 or so people and over a quarter of the class has already left because they didn’t care for where they were placed.

If you don’t want to get worked to death you gotta be a company guy in a wire related field. Think instrumentation or electrician. I’m a controls person offshore and I ain’t done shite in almost three weeks.

IMO BASF seems to have the least amount of people hating their job.

Definitely not Honeywell. That place is run by morons and HF acid will kill you with the quickness.

I’ve always heard good things about Methanex. Big expansions and they seem to invest in the people and equipment.

The irony of asking about a great place to work where you “don’t have to do any real work” is laughable. What happened to putting in a fair days work for a fair days pay? And many wonder why this world is so screwed up. I welcome the downvotes, they are a badge of honor.
