what really makes me wonder is why he wasn't yanked, word on the street at the time is he was ad libbing, everyone thought he must have had $ on the game

leading 20-6 (14 pts) in the 4th Quarter, LSU passed 17 times, and ran the ball 10 times.
Howard was NEVER pressured or hurried on any of his FIVE 4thQ INT's, and NONE of the INT's were tipped by LSU players. He threw into double and triple coverage and balls were tipped by AUB defenders.
Auburn rushed four on the first four interceptions, and Howard had a clean pocket on all four of them. Even when Auburn sent a blitz on the final interception, LSU picked it up. These were just classic examples of poor throws and poor decisions.
