Ended in carry guy killing robber. Though he’s not been accused of a crime, Houston police now want to “talk to” the shooter. FAFO

One more POS that will never bother anyone again I hope there are no charges against the shooter. Wish it would happen this way every time.

Be interesting to see what happens, he fired 5 more shots at close range after gun flew out of the suspects hand. One of those was execution style.

Not that the guy didn't deserve it...just not self defense at that point.

Don't get too excited. Judge Dora the Explorer will go after him.

Adrenaline kicks in, you don’t think clearly or rationally. If anything happens to the guy, meaning criminal charges, hopefully it isn’t too much more than a slap on the wrist, and no jail time.

Similar case from OK in 2009.

Ersland claimed at trial Parker was moving and he felt threatened. Testimony at trial revealed there was no evidence Parker moved after the first shot caused him to fall to the ground. A pathologist with the State Medical Examiner testified Parker was still alive after the first shot and ruled it was the final six shots that caused Parker’s death.

After a lengthy trial, the jury found Ersland guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced him to life in prison with the possibility of parole. The jury was given the option of manslaughter but opted for the more severe murder charge.

That last shot is not good and unnecessary. Going to be tough to argue self defense on this one.

Yeah I bet old boy isn’t looking for that conversation with police. He let quite a few go after the dude was down and even one after he took his gun.

I hope nothing happens to the guy but I sure wouldn't want to face a jury of my "peers" for that in BR

Especially since it occurs after he secures the suspects firearm.

Yep. He will have a very hard time defending those last 2 execution style shots.

He will be going to trial at the very least.

Y'all can be mad all you want about it. I am right on this one and have been from the first thread without seeing the video.

I always find it weird that they say well he fired 2 or 3 more shots than he should have. Like the avg person is just going to stop shooting after pulling the trigger two or three time. Im sure in real life and death situations you are pumped full of adrenaline and you just dont turn it off in a few seconds.

Are you really going to take the chance that you let the other guy get a few shots off if you quit shooting first? I think thats the thought process once you start pulling the trigger. All these people making these comments have never been in the other persons shoes. Not sure if its execution if its you just making sure that guy is never getting back up to take another shot. Not guilty on all counts.
