What’s your qb scoring? Team B wins probably >90% of the time.

Standard scoring with 6 pt passing and rushing TDs, bonus for big plays. Yes projections were 90/10 favoring Team B before game suspended.

Pay both second place money and split the remainder 90/10 if they don’t play the game.

Our championship managers agreed to split the pot- the bigger issue to some is that commish declared them co-champs for the purposes of the rollover pot, so if either of them win next year, they’ll get a $200-300 bonus for being repeat champs. It’s not that big of a deal to me, but we’ve got ‘that guy’ in our league that thinks the stats should count as they go in the books to determine the champion. Team A was down 30 with Burrow and Chase playing, team B was done, and at the time the game was called, the projection was 3-4 points in favor of A.

I’m up by 22 with Burrow and Diggs. He has Chase left and only a 3% chance of winning (really zero chance). This is our championship week so hopefully he’ll just wave the white flag.

I'm commish of my league and up by 48 with him having Buffalo's kicker and Higgins left.

I should win easily but I'm going to just go with whatever happens with the game. Found this posted about the NFL rulebook.

I feel like this is an easy decision given the week this happened. It would have gotten pretty dicey had it happened earlier in the playoffs.

My team was done for the week. Opponent still with Allen and Buff K and I’m up 23 when the guy went down. Good chance I’d lose if game is played through, but you never know. J Allen could’ve gotten hurt and out for the game very next possession.

There is good and bad luck in FF.

If I were commissioner I would just go with whatever fantasy platform your league uses (Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper, etc..) decides to do. Sleeper had already put out a statement on what they intend to do. Other platforms will follow. If someone in the league doesn't like that blame it on the platform.
this is what I’m waiting on yahoo to do. I was 97% predicted to win, and our commissioner is now suggesting we split the pot.

I think yahoo is just waiting to see if it gets rescheduled

Is the other guy fighting for a split? Seems insane to think splitting is appropriate when you are projected to win 97% of the time. If it wasn’t just 1 game left and multiple didn’t play, I could understand the split, but you’re talking about 1 or 2 players in most instances. If you’re feeling generous, maybe offer 10% of the first place prize on top of second to the other guy.

not really, he even stated he only had a 3% chance. It's the commish that suggested it in group text.

Basically, even if Allen & Diggs went 10 points over projections for him, and Chase got me a goose egg, I would still win. He pretty much had no chance.

I just don't see in what world I should have to split. Some people are doing it to be nice, but I don't think I should have to in this case.
If yahoo officially comes out and says scores are final as is, I'll just say "here, look, follow the platform rules commish"

ESPN is doing something on their side. All scores were reset to 0-0. Hopefully you took screenshots!

Willing to be that was an automated thing since the fantasy week ended.

Either way thanks for the heads up. Just took screenshots of the games.

You shouldn’t have to split. As a commissioner, he should look to y’all 2 to resolve the issue first. If y’all cannot come to an agreement, then he should step in a make a fair decision that factors in common sense.

If the game isn’t played, there are holes in any way you’d decide to split it, but using the % percentage of win as a starting point is the fairest IMO. I’ve yet to see a better alternative.

Probably just score it as is. As if those players were out with injury. I think that's what yahoo would default to but i'm not positive

Due to the circumstances of Monday's Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game, ESPN Fantasy Football will officially score fantasy matchups for Week 17 and Week 18 (if applicable) only after the Bills-Bengals game is ruled final (either after being played or cancelled). For scoring, we will use the official NFL player statistics for the game. Points for Bills and Bengals players will remain as they appear until the game is played or cancelled, and will be updated following that time. This may impact matchup results, league champions and final standings for your league. The current Week 17 matchup period will be extended a total of two days through the end of Wednesday, Jan. 4, while we make the necessary technical adjustments to support this approach. That means managers will be able to enter their waiver claims for Week 18 starting Thursday morning. Waivers will then process approximately 48 hours later than your usual league deadline. For the majority of leagues, that means your players will added to your roster overnight Thursday into Friday morning. What you need to know • By advancing the matchup week, matchup winners for Week 17 will appear to be determined, despite the status of the Bills-Bengals game still uncertain. • Matchups will not be considered final until the official conclusion or cancellation of the Bills-Bengals game as deemed by the National Football League. • Should the game be played, an update to Week 17 statistics will be processed shortly after the game and the winner of the matchup will be determined accordingly, if applicable, regardless of when the Bills-Bengals game is played. • Should the National Football League officially cancel the game, we will finalize Week 17 matchups utilizing the official NFL statistics for Week 17. As always, private league commissioners (League Managers) can modify matchup scores/results using our in-game LM Tools if they wish to take a different approach for the matchups impacted by this game. This includes the ability to execute retroactive lineup changes and/or manually update the final fantasy matchup score to achieve the desired result. Our thoughts continue to be with Damar Hamlin and his family.

Update from ESPN. Well that’s a lot of words.

This is my thing. You know you gotta deal with stuff like this when you agree to be commissioner. He holds the money, we're waiting on him to make a decision and he's asking us to come to an agreement.
His first instinct was to recklessly throw out splitting the pot. Of course 2nd place guy is not gonna oppose to it, but he admits his chances were slim to none. Now I look like the dick if I say no, give me my share.

I would agree to this (add another 3% to his 2nd place prize and deduct 3% from my 1st place). But to even split is just dumb, imo.

What about using points for week 18 performance for involved players to get final score?

I'm not opposed to that either.

It would be easy to tally by hand, but I'm not sure how it would officially show on the yahoo app in the final standings. Idk if there's a setting the commisioner can use to incorporate it into week 17.
The app is acutally already showing gold, silver, & bronze with final rankings.
