Every year someone makes this thread. Every year the SEC does fine.

And the SEC will likely win its 14th national championship in the last 20 years. Doing so with 5 different schools.

The SEC conference schedule is so hard you guys. Y’all just don’t understand. Even the bad SEC teams are good compared to other conferences.

I'm on the Clemson train tonight just to see more SECfan melts.

Be interesting to see what UT and LSU do for Bama's claim they should've been in the playoffs with their two-loses equaling 1 in other Conferences.

It doesn't matter in the grand scheme but if the SEC was 5-0 there would be 100 threads about how good the conference is

The B1G went 2-1 against the SEC in the 2006 bowl season, yet the only game people remember is OSU getting run out of the building against UF

I remember LSU running Notre Dame out of the building in the Sugar Bowl that year.

Anyone who bases what conference is the best based on Bowl records is a fricking tard.

A lot of times it comes down to motivation (except for the NY6 and playoff bowls obviously)

No. I just know football and anyone who knows ball doesn't make threads like this.

Nice non-sequitur.

The best conference huh?

Just be there in all of the NFL draft threads and respond in the same way, when the SEC dominates the first round and rest of the draft......

You guys had a pretty good year, we had a pretty good year. Both have very good transfer portal and recruiting classes. I will not say the reason LSU lost is because you guys had a week zero game. But want to wager a ban bet LSU punks you guys in Orlando and wins?

SEC teams have long been scheduled up in weight class by Bowl Director Fight Makers according to power ratings, going back decades.

2nd East Tenn vs unbeaten in league ACC Champ Clemson

2nd West Bama vs Big-12 Champ KSU

Etc..

Overall the SEC was not very good this year. Big 10 wasn’t either.

Say that with a straight face when both of your teams are higher ranked.

Is this the thread where we pretend the SEC isn’t the best conference?

Since 2000, the SEC has won 12 of 22 national championships. Make of that what you will.

Kansas was overrated, Okie Lite has been running on injured players since the 0-48 loss in October, frick Baylur, and the other two are SEC teams.

I realize well what Vegas, Sharps, and common sense say of the match ups.

But, it's a fact that SEC teams have slightly scheduled up over the decades when vs Big-10, Big12, ACC, when possible.
