Legit question, why does the sound matter if the performance is what you want? I always hear people rating sound in their reviews and it never made sense to me.

Because the sound a driver makes is obviously irrelevant to you. But it matters to ALOT of people, me included. There's no doubt that Taylormade makes great drivers but I'll never own one because of the sound it makes.

Titleist 915 9.5 degree with stiff shaft. Has a new golf pride grip that has been used for maybe five rounds.
