When will Davis fire McDaniels is what I care about

He has josh jacobs and davante adams and the only 2 starting QBs i can see with a lower completion percentage than him are Russel Wilson and Zach Wilson. And he leads the league in interceptions. Hard to blame all that on defenses and coaching. Although, mcdaniels is booty too
I’m no fan of Carr, as he is infuriating at times, but he has played 3 bad games all year and of those 14 INT, 10 of them happened in 4 games, in which the raiders went 1-3 and should have been 2-2 if the DC weren’t a complete moron and McDaniels didn’t try sitting on the ball for an entire half.
In the other 11 games, Carr has 18TD, 4INT, and 2,600 yards to go with a high usage RB and his #2 and #3 targets were out injured for most of the season. The raiders managed to go 5-6 in those games and blew double digit halftime leads in 4 of them.
Carr played to the level needed for this to be a 10-11 win team right now. McDaniels has coached this team into the gutter. The defense ranks 20-30 in every meaningful statistical category while their offense ranks in the teens. This after major hand picked acquisitions and the jettisoning of several defensive guys.

Big Raiders fan here and after reading many posts here this is what I think about the situation:
1. I like Carr, but he needs a change of scenery. I think he's a decent Top 12-15 QB, but it ain't happening in the Silver and Black.
2. I personally hated the Josh McDaniels hire. I hope it works out but I doubt it.
3. I think the Raiders are close. Just need a few pieces here or there, but I don't McDaniels is the guy to lead us there.

Has Josh McDaniels met and does he know Adams is on his team?

He will go down as one of the worst hires in a long line of really bad ones by the raiders.
This team was a playoff team last year without a WR1 and nearly beat Cincy on the road in January. For them to lose like they have is an indictment on this staff, not Derek Carr.

I agree. I was pissed when he was hired. I wish we'd keep Carr and get rid of McDaniels, but that's not happening.

Exactly. McDaniels should never be a head coach. Cut your losses and move on.

I think Davis is going to give McDaniels one more year to see what he does without Carr. I like Carr and feel bad for him because he’s had so much OC turnover in his career but he’s played really bad this year. I can blame that on McDaniels as well but Carr needs a change of scenery. He can go to another team and be good. I’m just so tired of being mediocre as a raiders fan. The one year we had a chance in the playoffs, Carr tore his knee up

Got to be a typo, why would he get a gurranteed contract if he didn’t pass a physical

You made the playoffs just last season

I think he was saying having a shot to make a run in the playoffs.
In 2016, Carr played his best season. Khalil Mack was on fire, and the raiders were on track for the 1 or 2 seed in the AFC when Carr got injured in week 16, the raiders lost to Denver the next week, lost the division, and then 12-4 raiders ended up losing a wildcard to a bad Houston team who had a good defense.

I don’t think Stiddy is the answer

PFF has him traded to Bucs for a 1st and 3rd.

Right, the roster is good minus QB. If he even plays half decent this year the Raiders would have already clenched again.

Even as an Auburn fan, I doubt he is too, but I hope he plays well.
We’ll see what happens.

But God do I fear Tom Brady next year.
I just don't know how much he has left.
