You think people didn't throw heat back then? You're a dumbass if you do. Now stand in there with a much larger strike zone, pitchers than don't give a shite about hitting you and a fricking ball cap for a helmet. Mf'ers were full on body armor to the plate now. Y'all forget that Ted would have access to all the modern training, nutrition etc. and wouldn't have gone to fight in Korea during his prime. Anybody shitting on Ted Williams needs to sit out any further baseball talks.

Speaking of dumbass, if you don't think the game has evolved from mechanics to rules to equipment then you're a dumbass. Probably a young dumbass who doesn't remember reliever Bruce Sutter modernizing the split finger in the 80s (well after Ted Williams played).
