Been out since the middle of the night. Estimated repair time is now 4:30.

Anybody else in greater Nola experiencing this?

Cox at my in-laws in Walker has been down all day.

Not to brag or anything, but my Starlink is rocking out just fine in this cold weather. My DirecTV as well.

switched to att fiber couple months ago. The customer service is just as bad although the internet doesn’t seem to go out nearly as much

That's a weird way to say, "frick AT&T", but it'll work.

Get a TV antenna.

If you have Cox in Metro New Orleans 90-95% of the New Orleans TV stations should be an easy catch with a decent one.

I have an outside antenna down in Cut Off, and all of the New Orleans stations are receivable including the 4 low power stations. The new ATSC 3.0 signal is at almost 100% signal strength even when turned away from the city and the 1.0 signals are unwatchable. The new ATSC 3.0 station has the 6 major New Orleans TV on one channel at 3-5 Mbps using HEVC encoding.

Only certain TVs have the newer ATSC tuner. I bought a box that converts my tv signals into streams that I can access on my phone or Roku.

I wonder if the local Fox Affiliate will get more bandwidth for the Super Bowl to broadcast in 4K.
