So what does our TE room look like now?

Mason Taylor
Jack Mashburn
Mac Markway
Jackson McGohan
Ka’Morreun Pimpton

That’s a lot of talent, but not a lot of experience. But Kelly is keeping his word when he said he’s going to recruit the position HARD.

Think we still try to get an experienced transfer?

The way they use the position you can come in and have an impact as a young player, we saw that last season after all. So IMO there’s no need to bring in a transfer at that position.

I like this take. Some of these guys are a bit more refined and others have high ceilings, but need some work (Pimpton).

Any word on when Pimpton is expected to announce?

Taylor is TE1. Mashburn probably won’t play much honestly. Markway probably plays early, he’s ready physically. McGohan is probably a redshirt candidate. Pimpton plays early, maybe more as a pass catcher than any blocking early on.

I did it just for the sake of the conversation, but when the mod for the school the kid is currently committed to flips his pick on ESD with a 7 confidence, it usually means it's happening.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better group of TEs in college football

Georgia has a better TE room than most NFL teams.

Yeah but as long as Kirby Shart is there, Georgia will never be a concern for me once we get our recruiting back up to where it should be from where Ed “shrimp boats and hoes” Orgeron left it. Kirby wins on talent not by his subpar coaching abilities.

I think we're done at tight end unless there's a big physical inline blocker who pops up.

Markway should be able to give us that, though.

This will be the best tight end room LSU has had since David LaFleur and Nicky Savoie were here.
