Take my advice. Don't just get the recipes. Make the time to spend with her and make them together. ASAP. it will mean the world to her now and you in the future.

For the rest of their lives. I did and it made their day, month, year, whatever. I have treasured those memories for 20 years. Likely will pick up technique that is lost on paper also.
