couldn't you just use a 10'x10' canopy tent like those for tailgating or something? That way the generator gets enough air around it for cooling. I have a portable diesel generac that the gentent won't work with because of the exhaust location.

Thatd work fine and everyone probably has one already.

Just remember to anchor that thing so it doesnt fly away.

That or simply put a large golf type umbrella over it. Rig up a way to stake it in the ground.
