Catholic apparently doesn’t want to compete with Public school money and retirement and doesn’t seem forced to at this point.. I’d also add that I have a suspicion that he didn’t like the constant pressure of running Catholic with the current expectations

Like all the years catholic beat Zachary in the regular season and they both ended up state champs. The top of D1 select has been so much stronger than the top of D1 non select since the split happened.

To be fair post split catholic is very different than
Pre split catholic. Knocking bears for playoff losses to wm , Neville and Acadiana then …. Well I don’t think any privates not named evangel beat wm pre split, wins over rams and tiger few and far between.
