I know this has been a topic on here from time to time. But looking to buy a few and give it a shot. I have a couple of other businesses so pretty confident I could turn a profit within the first year. Would just be a part time hustle

Routinely emptying them to collect a bunch of cash in high traffic areas of today’s America sounds like a great idea.

You would not want to buy many used as the maintence can eat into all of your profits. Go ahead and get one that would run you about 4k. You would also want one that is a stacker machine as they are easier to load and they jam less often.
Also if it does not come with a credit card reader make sure you purchase one, they usually run 300-500 bucks. This can be the difference in a sale or not depending on if they have cash or card.
Find a high traffic area that you know will sell some drinks and set inside. You can use D7 Lead Finder in order to help you find a busy location if they have access to your area or if you are friends with someone who owns a business or you already own a business then you could just place one there. You would need to have a few vending machines to turn a nice profit as one may only bring you a few hundred bucks a month once you account for the beverages you have to buy. Also find a wholeseller to buy your beverages from so that you can buy in bulk.

Yes. 84.

Bought a company back about 10 years ago. Warehouse, vans, and machines. Do around $25-$30k a month in sales. About 55% of that a month goes back into product. 18% of that goes into labor.

Build a relationship with your local Coke and Pepsi distributor. They’ll provide you machines and maintenance if you sell their product.

Don’t do Sams Club for anything but candy. They don’t sell 20 Oz sodas and limit on chip assortment. I use Vistar. Pepsi products are outrageous wholesale, so most of the drink product I sell is Coke. Coke products run me about $0.92/per bottle and sell for $2.50/each. If I’m not making 2.5-3x my cost I don’t sell it. I use convenient store pricing to set my pricing.

Yes.

They are work.

Well, I guess I had, because that shite is for the birds. They do make money but they are a headache. Its the theft attempts, hang ups, vandalism. Rarely is it the machines themselves but when they screw up they can really be a PITA. Basically any business that appeals to a wide range of clientele is going to have shitty customers.

Happened to run across this article on CNBC and thought that you might find it interesting.
