he seems harmles to me as well. throws out decent information with his picks. picks "random" games which is a cool way to get some info and coverage on them.

is he replaceable on air? yeah sure, i dont care either way, but people hating him seems weird.

College Gameday just got a little less autistic and a little more coherent.

Adding by subtraction.

one of the reasons i listen to so much gambling content is because they are the only ones that will talk about Sun belt teams

I had no idea that people hated this guy so much. I don't religiously watch Gameday or anything, but I never had a problem with him when they put him on. Seemed like some pretty harmless fun, and it gave us a rest from the other goobers on there.

Agreed Funky, unbelievable how many soy boys were rustled by Bear. The guy knows football, his podcast with Stanford Steve was good stuff. Contrary to the assertions in this thread, Bear Fallica had led the Circa Pro Cappers Contest most of this season(albeit behind Mike Palm whom can't be in it as Sportsbook Director), and is still in the top four behind Chuck Edel, James Salinas, Jeff Whitelaw.

I don't blame the guy for probably accepting a generous pay raise, which is what it sounded like if reading between the lines when he was on with Gill on Beating the Book this morning.

It’s crazy how many guys here don’t care for Fallica. I like Herbstreit and Davis in a different way, could do away with Dez and McAfee. Fallica is the only guy I actually like on the entire show.

Absolutely no part of me wants to see anybody who looks like that discuss sports gambling.

In what way is he not good? He generally crushes it and sportsbooks limit his bets. And he’s just a regular guy, albeit, he may have some access to statistical resources at ESPN the regular guy can’t access.

He's probably a nice guy. But we're not judging him on whether he's a good guy. He's not good on TV.

Oh so many soy boys in this thread, it hasn't aged well. I told ya'll Bear led the Circa Cappers Invitational most all season.

Well, he's went streaking again, and has a damn near unbeatable edge over the field(of professional sportsbettors).

Fellow ESPNer Kezirian, whom had taken a late season lead atop the field, with just a week to go, is the only one with a chance to take him down.

And to boot, check out Fallica's stellar 12-4 Weekly Best Bet mark.

Capper Tot BB Pending
Chris Fallica 49.0 12.0 4
Doug Kezirian 48.0 9.0 3
Chuck Edel 46.0 6.0 4
Joey Fortuna 45.5 9.0 5
James Salinas 45.5 8.0 5
Paul Stone 45.5 7.0 4
Randy McKay 45.0 8.0 4
Jeff Whitelaw 42.5 9.0 4

Kudos to FOX on money well spent..great hire.

I'll miss the Bear & Stanford Steve podcast.
