Honest question that I’ve had to ask myself about this, how do we know “when it’s forced” in the sense that it has ulterior motives?. It’s a movie, everything about it is scripted, forced, manufactured, etc.

It may come with an angle or it may not, I’m just not so sure we can say one way or the other without the production team making some dumb statement saying such, which does tend to happen with these types of things…
