The leadership at twitter absolutely made it known they would try not to sell to musk when the rumors of his interest first started. Plenty of discussion about shareholder obligations and fiduciary responsibility. Not to mention nonstop media onslaught trying to downplay the possibility.

Yeah so they didn't want to work with such a shitshow investor but they didn't try and stop anything and instead did their duties? Is that you're argument?
