Going to baton rouge this weekend and want to try out some wings. Not looking for big chain wings. I love hitting up local places where the owners work the kitchen and put their heart into their food. Those are the wings I'm looking for. Any of you baton rouge folks got suggestions for some bad to the bone wings from local places?

Not Pluckers. Bring Kevlar and go to EmpireWingz.

Wings are okay, I eat them, but I wouldn't go to a city and be like "I wonder if they got some places with good wings".

You’ll need to take out a second mortgage on your home if you want to buy a decent amount, but empire wingz is the shite

For regular hot wings, TJ Ribs are legit.

For flavored wings, I’d go with Wings n More or Wings n Sides. Those are two different places.

For just plain fried wings, that would be Triplett’s Blue Store.
