From my basic understanding the main concern about the song is that any explicit lyrics are picked up and can be heard on broadcast.

They will figure out a way to add lyrics to anything. It’s what 18-22 year olds do and have always done. If you think they don’t do similar “trashy” things at BIg 10 or Ivy League games then you are naive.

As if the students would be the only ones chanting STTDB. It would be 100,000+ chanting it. As glorious as that may be after a game winning touchdown against Florida, Bama, Faggies, or Ole Piss, it's not what you want your university to encourage

You bring your 6 year old daughter to a game, you don’t want the crowd screaming STTDB.
I thought it was funny when it first happened. Then every time after that has just been too much. The crowd has ruined the second best song LSU ever had. Neck can never be played without STTDB and it’s a shame.

The fact that today one of the most currently watched and anticipated SEC fan base YouTube channels even mentioned Neck tells you that it’s generally accepted as a less than profane chant. (A bank sponsors the channel ).

Someone come up with a more PG chant, distribute flyers all over campus on game day, and see if a majority of fans can drown out the original chant with the new one. Eventually it will morph into something else. Either freaking way…JUST PLAY NECK!

I totally disagree. With children in the stadium trying to have a good time about football, why do people have to sexualize it? In front of children? You are up there with the pedos exposing children to terms and sexual acts at a young age. It's disgusting. Nobody wants to hear about sucking dick at a game, especially with children around.
You want your kids around that? Sure be my guest, but I'd argue you aren't a great parent if you are exposing them at such a young age.
It's illegal and we already have the democrats trying to push that LGB agenda into our schools and teaching children about sexual health.

Put the students in the upper deck….way up. See if you can hear them then. I know other fans sing it too, but if you can’t hear them, then maybe people won’t join in.

False. The STTDB chants with Neck arose basically out of protest after TGBFTL banned other popular songs from being played due to profanity. There were several prior to Neck. Most notably was Oweo when fans added “You suck” and later “You suck Cocks”
The “Cocks” part was added initially during a South Carolina game, they being the Gamecocks. For that very game, LSU themselves, not the fans, put out a game day shirt with a gigantic “Beat the COCKS” on the back. For sale in the bookstore for anyone at all to buy.
Ergo, LSU only has itself to blame and perhaps even USCw for having a terrible mascot. Had they never outlawed Oweo, STTDB may never have been born.
