I feel the same. Rogers and Thomas have had plenty of chances to commit to LSU. If we have to push one of our existing commits out to take one of them, I'd rather not.

Rather unfortunate but LSU has their guys in the secondary, wouldn’t hurt to have that immensely talented duo to the mix but weird how that got started up as well

Dont get caught up in just the HS recruiting. If we lose as many guys as is being listed above I would expect at least 2 portal guys.

FWIW a couple people confirmed Rogers visited. It sounds like Spiegs wrote an article that either Rogers or LSU did NOT want getting out, and made him take it down.
I know Spiegs is a national guy, but he used to be an LSU guy before this so if we said to take it down, he probably would.
This definitely wreaks of trying to keep things quiet. I dont think Spiegs retracted the article because it wasn't true, it's because it was never supposed to get out. Note he said it was a 'miscommunication', not that it didnt happen.

Greg Brooks isnt a corner, he's been playing safety. He also can return for another season should he chose to. I think he will.
Ward also plays nickel, which isnt technically corner, its safety/nickel is the general terminology.
Richardson has been playing a lot less so I dont think it's a big loss there. JBC and Garner will be big losses. If we can return Banks which we should that would be a big boost.
