Sure. But there's always a limit. We still have to stay at 85 total scholarships, so at some point we'll have to start making room, either by pushing kids out of the signing class or processing guys already in the program.

Ward also plays nickel, which isnt technically corner, its safety/nickel is the general terminology.
Still LSU is likely to lose 5 corners and don't forget the possibility of losing Raydarious Jones who is suspended now.

Sevyn Banks will probably get a medical RS and be able to return. I think they’ll still want to get at least 1 guy from the portal who has college experience. Relying on all guys who have never played at this level is not a wise move. There will also likely be some natural attrition at some point in this secondary class.

This definitely wreaks of trying to keep things quiet. I dont think Spiegs retracted the article because it wasn't true, it's because it was never supposed to get out. Note he said it was a 'miscommunication', not that it didnt happen.

The spring reports were the bottom of the roster didn't look like the average LSU depth, so I'm suspecting if we go over 85 scholarship players, there will be some attrition. In this day and age there always is.
