Good chance both USC and maybe Oregon lose one more. Also, a chance Clemson loses one maybe to Auburn.
With those, there is a chance. I still think it is touch and go. Beating Bama may leapfrog us Ahead of the 1 loss Pac teams.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some of this at play along with having Ole Miss hold their ranking so well.
Edit to add: it also could be to keep us elevated (assuming poor outcomes here) in order to give more weight to UT’s profile if they lose this weekend and miss Atlanta or in the SEC title game to get in with 1-loss.

The Pac 12 will be interesting moving forward. With the top 2 teams making it to their championship, it can determine a great deal of movement with this list. USC has to play UCLA and that winner will get Oregon. They have been playing very well. I think it's almost a guarantee a Pac 12 school gets in this year unless one stumbles greatly. The USC Notre Dame game isn't going to be what it used to be.
