At least there's one positive about the attack on Pelosi's husband.

At least now, from this day forward, Pelosi will know the ever present concern, fear, and worry that thousands of law abiding, home invasion victims carry with them every day by making sure their door is locked, daily taking more security precautions at home, being situationally aware, and hoping and praying the same thing doesn't happen to their children or other family members due to her insane politics and gun control policies. Too bad she wasn't home, too. After all, she has a big hammer herself. Maybe she could have gaveled the attacker into submission...

Papa P should have shown the intruder his Fraternal Brotherhood of Police card.

I wouldn't be shocked if the highest level politicians (and hopefully Supreme Court justices) start getting their own security detail for their home residences after this. That would be prudent.

All of them or just the ones we don't like? Pretty sure having some kind of security was high on our priority list after the loony got arrested outside of Kavanaugh's house...not to mention people wanting law enforcement to run off the protestors.

Not surprised. Dems and libs either celebrate violence against conservatives and most white men or take a long time before speaking out against it.

That might be what some pussies want, but I just want nationwide laws that allow to freely deal with threats ourselves, without fear of prosecution. And take the scum off the streets.

Why not make it means tested? If you can afford your own security you pay for it

I want those things too, auggie, but we can do both. I think someone who is 3rd in line for the most important job on the planet, and all of our SC Justices, probably need a bit more protection than what they can provide for themselves. This world is full of crazies and they're being allowed to get away with more and more everyday. It sucks, but that's where we are.

No, they must live in the same world as the people that elect them. They can't be untouchables. As powerman said, they can pay for it themselves if they need it.

These mfs made millions off of insider trading due to Nancy's position. Let them pay for their own security.

Does your view extend to the office of the President as well?

I understand that sentiment, but I'm not referring specifically to the Pelosis. I'm talking about whoever holds that position and several other higher level positions in our gov't. Do you want the make-up of our SC changing because some deranged MFer decides to take out a conservative Justice at a time when a dem can appoint another one? I sure as frick don't.
