Better than what I was expecting but geez meth is evident and everywhere. What’s everyone’s opinion of other festivals in South Louisiana that’s worth the drive?

Is standing around in a crowd of trashy people really fun?

Washington parish free fair if you do it right. Family is camping there all week. Wife did send me some pics of some fine specimens though. Sounds like Brantley Gilbert pissed off some locals with his “filthy mouth” Thursday night.

It was earlier this month so almost a years wait.

Try Decadence Fest in NOLA. I think you’d feel very prideful going to it.

We went to the boudin and bacon festival in Lafayette yesterday. Format of paying for food was clever. Food good .Kids had fun on with the free activities. Parking not too bad. Only gripe was the live music. Actual music itself was fine, its the idiot who decided that volume 11 was perfect. Nothing like having to yell into someone's ear to talk no matter where you were in the festival.

Also, I wasn't aware that Laffy had so many alphabet people.

Crowley Rice Festival I assume.

Honestly do not know if another Louisiana town claims “Rice Capitol” status.

Crowley Rice Festival Lions Club hamburgers FTW. Probably awful by adult standards but if I have one I feel 14 again. And it’s delicious to my 14 year old brain.
