As a player who wants to be traded or a team who wants to trade you the absolute last thing you want to do is get tagged as a goldbricker and not be on the field showing you are still very capable. You destroy your contract value and your team destroys your trade value.

So he fricked around with rehab instead of getting the surgery, costing him the entire 2021 season?

On the advice of a doctor. Just like the other thread your ignoring parts of an argument you don't agree with to make yourself feel like you're right.

Sad.

A doctor, not the team doctors.

Got it.

Didn’t you just tell me to clean up my grammar in that other thread?

Lol yeah big oof. I'll leave it up.

If you've never had surgery and a doctor tells you you can rehab it, what would you do?

I would do what was best to get back to doing my job as quickly as possible.

Thomas chose to extend his recovery.

Skipping the surgery and opting for rehab wasn’t the only advice he was given, it was just the advice he chose to follow.

He was advised to get the surgery, and went out and got other opinions until he got the one he wanted.

Mike Thomas has got to be the biggest contract bust the saints have had… 3 games in 3 years for 100 million dollars? That is malpractice by everyone involved…

All reports out there say he went and got 1 second opinion.
Also, are you questioning why a player would want a 2nd medical opinion over the same medical staff that said Winston was good to play through 4 fractured vertebrae and travel w the team to London? Is it the same medical staff that gave him the green light to try to play through the injury in 2020? Is it possible he lost faith in them there and decided to seek the 2nd opinion?

frick all this shite. Thank God the Pelicans are starting Wednesday. Can’t believe I’m saying this but they actually love playing for the team and each other.

Short memory? Wasn’t there questions all last season as to whether or not Zion’s heart was in it?

More like accusations, but he’s been smiling for two straight weeks. So I guess the media was wrong.
