Top 4 Herring on mound FB 89-92 Breaking ball 83-84
Long, difficult inning for Herring that was ended with 2 men on.
JT with hard single, White with hard RBI single, Stevenson with hard single up the box.

Herring inning ended after a walk a couple wild pitches and two line drives by Tanks and Stevie. Tanks had a great AB and went inside out on a CB inside that went on a line to an empty right side because of the shift. Then Stevie nearly hit Herring up the middle. No bombs today but lots of hard hit balls.

Starters were good. Herring has been really bad. Dutton bounced back. Defense has been bad today. Pretty sure Guidry just took one off his balls.

My observations:
Freshmen, Chase Shores and Jared Jones are absolute units. First off the bus.
Tommy Tanks is a star. Looks ok at 3rd even though he totally botched a pop up.
We are loaded at Catcher, they all look good.
3rd base coach doesn’t realize how blazing fast Paxton King is.
Paul Skenes is like Crews, in that he looks like he should be in the majors already.

That oppo home run just now by Skenes was crazy. Thought it would 1-hop the wall due to apex. Haven’t seen oppo power like that since Deichmann.
