So move to an affordable location. Get a better job.

You are not entitled to a home that you are renting from someone else beyond the terms of your lease. Period. If you want the same monthly rate on your home in perpetuity, buy it and negotiate those terms with your lender, or quit signing monthly leases.

Move out of the uber expensive cities that provide zero upward wage mobility for the uneducated.

But regardless, all you need to do is propose specifically how we would amend the constitution to force landlords to lose money. Then we can actually discuss. Nothing is gained from pissing matches over vague abstractions.
