Guns aren’t a right. You still have to afford one, they won’t just give you one

Gas is a good. Shelter is neither a good nor a service, but a basic human necessity. The same goes for animals

This was NOT about attacking the second amendment at all. This was about possibly making another amendment for housing.

Then you should have used a different example.

The Constitution doesn't confer our Second Amendment rights. It shields them from being stripped by the government.

Is there a ban on renting or owning housing by the government that you're keeping a secret from us?

You dont think its weird that gun violence is out of control in America, yet we reserve the rights for crazies (potentially) homeless people to have them. Simply a comparison

No. I'm not in support of taking away someone's Constitutional rights because they're "homeless."

Are you suggesting I didn't pay taxes?

Hell I will even erect the tent, clearly you haven't the mental capacity to assemble it.

Many veterans go homeless after not affording proper medical/mental care. I thought you knew this

You have the right to go to any church you'd like, but the government isn't going to provide a church for you.

I appreciate the guts it took to post this absolutely stupid question, and I do mean that sincerely because I know you'll get roasted for it.

Self defense against tyranny is what our country was literally founded upon. Guns aren't a "right" made by the constitution. 2A specifically removes the governmental jurisdiction of keeping us from them.

Housing costs money and requires others to do your bidding. Firearms do not.

Actually there are so many ways this is a silly question. I hope you do learn from this instead of getting embattled to defending the idea.

100s of years ago the Natives around the world had to build their own “homes” . No one was guaranteed a free hut . If you didn’t build it yourself or trade something of equal value you didn’t have a hut. Why should someone be guaranteed a free house today .
