Cracked my lens on my costas. I've been looking around at these 3rd party replacement lenses, and wondering if any of you have tried it out?
I've tried buying the cheaper polarized glasses, but they just don't fit right. Mine are like a good pair of jeans, and irreplaceable.

Yes but I’ve always bought OEM lenses.

Send them back to Costa and get the real thing. The lenses are what you bought the Costas for. Last time I did it, they charged about $100 for 580 Glass.

I thought they stopped replacing lenses? This is actually my second pair in the last few years. I tried to send them back around 2020, and they told me they aren't replacing them anymore. I'll have to look into this again

All the time. I would avoid Sublime lenses, but all others are great that I have used.

I replaced a pair of ray ban lenses with Fuse lenses. Loved the replacement lenses.

Every time I’ve mailed something back I ended up getting them replaced for just a couple bucks.

Find a decent optical place and take them there for lens replacement.

I bought some fairly cheap ($40) replacement lenses for my oakleys from amazon. Polarized and scratch resistant. They are as good or better than the oem lenses.

I have a pair of ray ban aviator frames that are 15+ years old and I’ve replaced the lenses 3 times with Fuse lenses.

Lenses are much better quality than the trash lenses ray ban use nowadays. If you buy the higher priced Fuse lens you actually get a free replacement with no time limit on claiming it. So ~$50 for two replacements, usually lasts me 3-5 years.

3rd party? Just send back to Costa, pay the $70 and have them completely repair them.
