Their job is to look out for the citizens of the community and the victims of criminal activity. Not to be a public defender.

Elect competent judges and DAs that will push for convictions and give higher sentences

Fund our police force - boost salaries and training. Change the media narrative painting police as villains

Encourage communities to root out their bad seeds - increase funds to crimestoppers etc. Make communities more willing to work with police to provide tips

Re-establish targeted policing of problem communities like NYC’s stop and frisk

Keep rappers like mystical off the streets. The dude should have been put in jail years ago and should still be there.

Honestly this seems to be one of the biggest causes these days. Leftist crime and prison reform is a scourge on society. It seems like more and more crimes like these are committed by people who should already (or still) be in prison. Had Memphis kept this a-hole locked up for more than 11 fricking months for attempted murder, multiple people yesterday would not have died.

And shite like that also pushes away cops from doing what they are supposed to do. I'm not saying it's right or justified, but it feels like cops care less when they know whomever they arrest either won't be prosecuted properly, or won't serve jail time (or very little). So it's almost like what's the point.

I have railed against her before, but it bears repeating. The DA responsible for releasing these convicts in Memphis was supposed republican Amy Weirich.

Hopefully true conservatives realize that these RINOs are a much bigger threat that dems
