I’m worried about increased drunk driving on my street. People already fly down Burgin.

I graduated in the early 90s. Since that time is Greek life on the rise, decline or about the same? At my university it seems to be about the same level of kids involved.

There are. I rented a house in Southdowns 20 years ago. We had three unrelated people. We lied to the property manager and claimed that two of us were first cousins making it legal.

Though this ordinance is broken very very often and seldom enforced. It's usually only brought up when trying to limit certain tenants.

For sure, I had a similar situation in college trying to move into a house in the Garden District off South Eugene. I imagine they will enforce the ordinance in this case, since it seems to be getting a lot of publicity and will be a lot more than a 2 or 3 unrelated people living in the same house

Who would rent a house to a fraternity? How do you possibly insure something like that?

They are renting as individuals, but using it as a fraternity house. This will be the future of fraternities. Liberal campuses are out to get them.

Would it matter how the house is zoned?

Smart move by fraternity to go where LSU can’t control them.

What used to be in this property (Highland at Lee)? I found a video. The interior is bizarre but interesting.

In the early 90s it was one of those upscale mini-shops places where overcapitalized second and third wives opened up tiny shop spaces selling candles or specialty teas so they could have something to do while their husbands were off working to pay for the money-losing shops their second and third wives had in that building.

Sororities are still strong at my school. Fraternities are dying through a mix of the school fricking with them and self-inflicted wounds.
