Bought a gun new last year, scope and mounts and rings all new. Gun sighted in just fine, accurate. Had the gun and mounts and rings cerakoted. Now, the elevation on the scope bottoms out, out of adjustment and still want go low enough. I don't understand, please help. Thanks

One of the rings may have gotten more of the cerakote on it.

Swap them and see if that will work.

Take the scope off and mount off and make sure the cerakote didn't get somewhere that's pushing it up somehow? Of course you probably already checked this.

Are they Talley? If I remember correctly they have to be correctly installed “there is a front one and a back one”

So many variables, I would bet it is a front/back ring situation.

If the rings are right you can shim between the barrel and the ring, never between the ring and the scope

Lots of good suggestions. If they're Burris Signature rings (the ones w/ the plastic inserts) you can remedy your problems by replacing the neutral inserts w/ adjustment inserts.
