The main ones I see leaving games are in their 30s and younger. Half the student section in gone by halftime. So stay in your seats, sonny boy, and stay the frick off my lawn.

I’m 25. I think that shits lame, I do not think Tiger Stadium needs that gimmick.

Ignore the downvotes. People may like LED lights, but they are absolutely a gimmick.

What Tiger Stadium needs is all these lazy arses to stay in their seat and stop trying to "beat the traffic."

Without a doubt, Tiger Stadium needs better lighting. Color lights, no but better white lights. The sound and north score board suck.

Next year. Company was behind because of COVID and universities not allowing contractor work last year.

Yeah everyone eats good at tailgates but at about halftime I’m starving and it’d be nice to have some solid food at the concessions. Need to eat to get that energy back to make some noise.

are we talking LED light shows or LED lighting for the field? LED lighting for the field is a no brainer. I don't care for the every TD light show gimmick.

No need to keep up with the Jones, just improve the present.

Besides how it’s cool, led lights would actually save them a lot of money in the long run.

Black or purple lights and the Undertaker's theme song would make Death Valley really imposing.

Do it during a break in the game when they announce the sun has set in the western sky and it is now nighttime in death valley.

I basketball-esque light show as the team takes the field would be pretty hyped. Bring in the LEDs and lasers. Work that shite into the halftime show.

Then again, you need actual night games.

Logically you would think it makes sense - less maintenance, longer lifespan, way lower energy cost, no need to warm the lights up, etc.

But the question comes down to how much it costs to install them. The reality is that when LSU makes the switch (it will happen eventually) we will likely want all the same bells and whistles as our competitors. So it’ll wind up costing a few million.

Personally, I think the sound needs to be a much higher priority. They need to completely redesign the stadium’s speaker system to utilize distributed, highly directional speakers that minimize time alignment issues. Right now it’s a garbled mess in way too many seating locations.

I think they do that at Panthers games now too, don’t they?

They can do a lot of cool things with live CGI these days.
