Only guns I have ever sold were guns purchased in the last few years, and typically sold or traded them to replace with something different. The one I have just a tinge of regret was a stainless Ruger mini 30, but not that much because the gun isn’t a shooter. Mags sucked, shot patterns and not groups, etc etc. But def was a “cool” gun.

I have a ton of guns and have only ever sold 1. It was a snub-nosed S&W .44 mag just like the one pictured. Sold it to my best friend for $350 because he didn't own a pistol and couldn't afford a new one at the time. The agreement was that if I ever want it back in the future I could buy it back for the same price. He now has tons of guns also, which reminds me I need to get mine back.

Ive only ever sold one gun in my life. The first rifle my dad bought me when i was 15.it was wood stock savage 308. But stock had been cut off to fit youth better. So when i got 18, i needed something that fit me. Sold it and bought winchester model 70 270wsm. Still have that gun 20yrs later.

All of them but in particular

S&W 586 nickel plated from '85: was afraid to shoot it and was just sitting in the safe. No more nickel plated for me, but i love the old smiths.
Sig P238: surprisingly accurate for its size; wanted 9mm ccw. Cool as hell little guy though.
S&W 36: not fun to shoot at all and only five rounds but it is a collector. The guy i sold it to was very happy even though i made a profit.

pre ban model A Uzi in 1994. I bought it for $600. I had a guy offer me $1600 after the 94 ban was passed. I was a college student at the time and the $1600 paid for a lot of beer.

Sold all of mine. Didn’t feel right about contributing to the gun violence that is plaguing our country.

None. I've only sold two to trade up. During the pandemic, I sold an M&P Sport and made enough to buy a Larue PredatAR. Sold an XDs to buy a 365xl.

How dare you profit from guns. I donated all of mine to BLM, Antifa and the Homeless.

As a kid I traded my 1885 Low Wall Falling Block Winchester for a damned pistol that I thought that I needed. It needed work on the cylinder advance mechanism. The damned thing misaligned the cylinder to the barrel and when I was shooting it at a target and it peeled off part of the lead bullet and that struck a guy standing off to my left side in his cheek right below the eye. Needless to say it found a new home.
Just remembered, I traded it for a Beretta 32auto pistol that I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with even if I was standing inside the barn.
