I was concerned about last years game with UCLA., but not nearly as much this year, even though I think the FSU offense will challenge us. There are many reasons why I get the perception of LSU is not where it will be, but the weapons we have on offense is something that is impressive. Even looks like we have a weapon at tight end, which was a weakness last year. For the first time in a very long time, I’m not thinking that the other team has a coaching advantage. Anything can happen I guess, but I’m feeling pretty good about the game.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the line move in the next couple days. We're also the only game Sunday, so there should be a lot of action on the game.

I believe the line for the Miami game was around 2/3 pts.

This will be a close game. LSU will not blow out FSU mark it down
I get the same feeling. Just too much unknown on LSU’s side (FSU too). If its a blow out either way ill be surprised.

Still this the Tigers win but probably a score like LSU 27 FSU 19 ??

I think the fact that FSU has 8 returning players on offense and 8 returning players on defense is the main reason. LSU is new everywhere. Add to that the warm up game. Game will be close.

Why in the world would this worry you? We may lose on Sunday night, but how for-profit companies think about the potential outcome is meaningless.

I don’t care if they win by 1 as long as it’s a win.

They know that the line at LSU -3 is attracting a roughly equal amount of money bet on LSU and FSU. That is all.

Has nothing to do with who they think is going to win or what the actual score will be.

Nothing, that's the problem they know nothing of this team just like we don't.

They just don't have the emotions of Fandom to deal with.

The spread will be 5ish by gametime.

Don’t know if it will get to 5, but I can see it going to 4 on Sunday. Most of the public is concentrated on Saturday games. They will bet this one on Sunday all day long…..it will move then one way or the other.

You obviously don't understand how it works. The line moves based on betting so you figure it out.

they know the same things we know, except without the bias and fanhood optimism.

They know we have a patchwork O-Line. a transfer QB that was less than amazing last year, and our leading returning rusher had less than 200 yards last year and no TDs.

it's gonna take us a minute to figure this out and catch our stride. So week one is likely not going to be a blowout.

Vegas doesn't care who wins or covers. They only try to get equal money bet on both sides and they pocket the vig.

So when Vegas moves the spread, it has nothing to do with Vegas liking one team over the other. It's about the behavior of bettors.

Simple as that.
