Adds some legitimate golf talk that the show was missing but I’m not really a fan of him. Aside from his occasional cocky, left wing tweets, I think he’s kinda boring and talks too much.

I wonder if them letting Lurch go is going to cause any drama down the road. I don't listen to the podcast much, but I do watch their stuff on youtube. How is Rapaport's game? Lurch was the best golfer of the group.

Ben Hogan could come back from the grave and sign with Foreplay and I still wouldn't listen. Don't see how anyone into golf can stand the hosts/content.

I don't care for their pod cast, but enjoy their actual golf content. I liked the fact that they were just regular golf hackers. Not sure I will like them adding a legitimate golfer to the group.

What do y’all think of Foreplay in comparison to No Laying Up?

About 4 months ago I started looking for a golf podcast(I quit listening to podcasts for a year or so) and initially gave Foreplay a few listens.

I didn’t like it at all.

Went to No Laying Up and don’t miss an episode.

NLU is consistently great. They can get preachy but they put out great podcasts/videos. I like Shotgun Start better but listen to both.

I was about to write a long post, but your feelings match mine and you did it succinctly. There are times when Soly and DJ can get on their high horse, but I mostly love their podcast. It has replaced Pardon My Take as the podcast I finish before all others.

As for video content, they are also top notch. There are times when I just want to watch golf shots, so Bryan Bros, Micah Morris, or GM Golf are what I'm looking for. However, nobody beats NLU in production quality. Tourist Sauce, Strapped, Wide World of Golf, and Film Room are really great.

Never heard of Shotgun Start. I’ll give them a go.

NLU can definitely get preachy but I like that they do it. It seems like they’re giving you all angles of what’s going on. Particularly the political stuff of how the tour works and moves they’re making.

No doubt. But they’re pretty self aware of it so it makes it easier to digest.

Agreed. Listen to NLU weekly and watch almost all of their content. My only complaint with them is their obsession with LPGA discussion, I wish they would give the LPGA stuff a separate podcast.

I don't mind that they talk about it, I just wish they had timestamps on the podcasts so that I can skip to the next part.

Lurch didn't want to give up his full time job with Axon so it sense. He was the least involved out of the main group anyway so I don't think its a big loss.

Agree on the quality of their podcasts being meh but they put out good content.

Their best stuff is when they play with Kisner and he is just drinking and talking shite the entire time.

Foreplay puts out the better content, I think their podcast attracts a younger audience than NLU from what I've gathered.

No way their golf content is better than NLU. I’ve tried watching their stuff and it’s annoying as hell. Maybe if I flat billed, didn’t sand divots, fix pitch marks, lied about my scores, and still lived with my parents I would enjoy it.

For real.

I don't care if you aren't good at golf, a lot of guys I play with breaking 100 is a good day. But Frankie and Riggs claiming to be 5 handicaps is just absurd. Neither one would consistently break 90 if they had to hit cups and play it down

All of this. Three of them claim sub 8 handicaps and none of them play like it, yet film their golf rounds every week for all to see. Even on their best days, I haven’t ever seen any them play what their handicaps should indicate, especially Frankie’s wedge game. A 5 isn’t skull fricking almost every wedge he hits. Their piss poor short game is a dead giveaway their handicaps are bullshite

Best podcast in the world. You may have to listen to a few episodes, but I’ve laughed the hardest listening to a podcast in my life at some of their episodes. So good.

Agree that there is no way Riggs is, especially after watching the Kisner video this week.

But Frankie shot back to back 76s that has been recorded on Breaking 90
