I have 2 large rabbits that my daughters got about 5 years ago that we are trying to give away. Any takers or ideas? Located around Denham/walker.

I mean, you live in south Louisiana. What do you think people here would do with them?!?

Yeah I know the realization lol. I didn't buy them, my mother did. I was against it. Now just trying to give them away to someone who has a farm or something so I don't end up slaughtering them myself.

My plan was getting a couple rabbits, putting them in a cage, fattening them up and making Gumbo. I also planned to let them loose once in a while and let my dogs learn to track them.

By the end of the first day, my 4 and 7 YO daughters had given each one a name. When I put the first one on the ground for the dogs to chase, it was too stupid to run and my dog had it in his mouth within 0.001 seconds when I saved its stupid azz. After a year my plan for the Gumbo was met with both daughters telling me they would run away from home and not talk to me for the rest of their lives.

Some plans in life just don't work out.

That’s where the plan went south. I would have done the same thing.

my daughter held Porter all the way from Lumberton, MS. to Prairieville. When we got home she asks me not to hunt wild hogs with him. She doesn't want to see him get hurt. That was that. Daughters.
